Welcome to our new blog! Kevin and I are embarking on an ambitious effort to complete a full marathon. Crazy? Absolutely! Nonetheless, we both would love to say we have accomplished this feat in our lifetime, so why not jump right in?
Marathon: San Diego Rock 'N' Roll Marathon, June 3, 2012
We are training with Team in Training - a part of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society ("LLS") - so thankfully we will be guided by capable hands along the way. Not only are we aiming to complete 26.2 miles in under 24 hours (ok, hopefully much less than that!), but we are also trying to raise much-needed funds to support LLS in its mission to cure Leukemia, Lymphoma, Hodgkins Disease, and Myeloma.
We will continue to update our blog over the course of the next few months so you can follow along in our training progress - let's see if we're recognizable by our wedding in July!
